Oversees professional and/or supervisory employees in Operations. Adheres to the strategy within their specific function. Focus in operations management, execution, and process improvement, planning and scheduling in the Warehouse department.
Inspect and ensure all safety procedures are being followed
Check for and ensure that quality control is being practiced on all jobs
Inspect for proper use and quantity of labor
Provide support to the warehouse team as needed. as needed
Analyze show load and operations schedules
Ensure outgoing orders are complete and on schedule
Ensure information is being dispersed to appropriate departments in a timely manner
Attend pre-con meetings
Hold meetings with our support vendors
Meet with the Warehouse Manager on special projects
Make sure that all paperwork is processed properly through your department as well as others
Attend meetings held by other departments
Ensure training is on going and make recommendations on training needed
Support Warehouse Manager with Corporate Training Program
Conduct yearly review of assigned personnel to be held along with the Warehouse Manager
Responsible for holding the Safety Meeting daily meetings
Operations process improvement
Assist the Warehouse Manager with any and all projects as needed
Champion quality processes throughout facility
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or G.E.D., and a minimum 4 years of events, management or warehouse operational experience; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the trade show industry preferred.
Experience with audio visual products.
Record of achieving revenue and client service goals within budget.
Successful at leveraging technology and people to optimize efficiencies and service delivery.
Experience developing a culture of continuous process improvement.
Successful at recruiting, developing, managing and retaining employees.
Ability to manage employees and effectively present information.
Ability to work productively with clients and general public.
